Your Big Picture Click Here if you love Chocolate
When you start out to create a painting there are many decisions to make, like; what am I trying to convey in this picture? Or what colours do I want to use to express my feelings, and what is my intention for the finished piece?
A painting is a captured moment, and every moment of your life is like one painting after another. Eventually all ‘still’ images come together creating the ‘movie’ of your life - your big picture.
There are many points through your life when you decide to make a change to your original idea or plan. That action affects the outcome of the painting, or the big picture of your life. The paint colours would be a metaphor for your body’s energy field, the brush being the tool to convey your thoughts and feelings, and the canvas, the place of endless possibilities. The canvas is the ground on which all things become manifest. This is where your soul can reflect itself back to you. Your thoughts and feelings become visible. That’s why it’s so important to be aware of what you’re creating in your life, as each moment can affect the outcome of your big picture. Your thoughts, feelings and subsequent actions create consequences or ‘scenes’, and like a painting, can dictate what you do next. Practicing art can provide a valuable tool for communication and feedback with your body’s innate knowledge and intuition, and developing the ability to trust that intuition is the most important work you can do.
